WHAT I LIKED: Where the ridiculously titled 'Twilight Saga: New Moon,' works best is when it's delving into its characters like it did in the first one, as that's where the adolescent angst comes from and it's where the film engages most. This ven... Read the full review »

WHAT I LIKED: It's no secret that 'Twilight,' gets a lot of stick from movie-fans, but frankly I have to say that I largely find this series rather entertaining as its adolescent character relationships are engaging and its goofy approach to the a... Read the full review »

WHAT I LIKED: Now before I begin this review, I feel that I need to make one thing clear - The Smiths (and much of Morrissey's earlier solo stuff) is sacred to me. I'm not the biggest music-lover in the world, but I listen to The Smiths constantly... Read the full review »

WHAT I LIKED: The only reason that Paul Greengrass and Matt Damon's 'Green Zone,' wasn't well-received is effectively because it's a fairly polemic film about a thoroughly contentious issue, but regardless of its one-sided stance it's hard to deny... Read the full review »

WHAT I LIKED: William Friedkin's 'The French Connection,' is essentially a film where cops follow drug dealers around for almost two hours, so it's frankly a wonder that it's as gripping as it is. Yes this movie really will have you hooked from st... Read the full review »
