Good lord.

Films you don't like that everybody else loves.
@stickaroundblog Absolutely. It was technically brilliant and I really liked the first half hour or so, but then it sort of ran out of ideas and got dull fast.

This is quite possibly one of the most amazing film experiences I've had. It's hard to critique this shlock-fest properly so I'm basing my rating on the sheer amount of ridiculous fun that can be had watching this.

What do you believe Objectively is the greatest film of all time?
@buffed_film_buff You do have a point with saying you've not seen enough. I'm quite embarassed to admit some of the films I've not seen and should probably come back and decide properly after watching them.

Plot Twists!
@Chris I agree with Saw (2004), that one really caught me off guard. And although I love Shutter Island (2010), whenever I rewatch it I feel like an idiot for not guessing it straight away.

What do you believe Objectively is the greatest film of all time?

General quality of filmmaking (acting/editing/writing etc.)
Influence on the filmmaking landscape

@revimov Well, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016) is criminally overrated that's for sure. As for the original trilogy I find Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983) to be quite weak compared to the others, save for the 3rd act. And, w... View the full reply »
