This was a really weird prequel to Captain Marvel. I'm glad to know that Brie Larson grew up after her hallucinogenic event and went on to fly jets and become a total badass. My theory is that Samuel L. Jackson is her guardian angel.

For a Chinese film, this has an amazing American soundtrack. I don't think I can hear California Dreamin' without thinking of this. I dare an American filmmaker to make a romantic comedy with this level of whimsy and pacing. A breath of fresh air. Read the full review »

What do you believe Objectively is the greatest film of all time?
As of right now, I usually say that my all time favorite is either Network or There Will Be Blood.
