This is not a horse movie. Not even as much as another great movie from the same year The Rider. While a horse does play a role as a character, the title of the movie is an action done by our main character Charley. I had never seen Charlie Plummer in anything else, but he is formidable and I hope we see him in more. This was the kind of movie that pulls your heart your of your chest and the dropkicks it. I thought it was a fantastic story told masterfully by Andrew Haigh. Bravo.1 member likes this review.
