Burn After Reading, otherwise known as the movie where John Malkovich exasperatedly mutters "what the fuck" in a series of increasing frustration for ninety minutes. No, that's not entirely correct, but if that was actually what the entire movie... Read the full review »

What do you believe Objectively is the greatest film of all time?

@buffed_film_buff You do have a point with saying you've not seen enough. I'm quite embarassed to admit some of the films I've not seen and should probably come back and decide properly after watching them. View the full reply »

Safe House is a well acted action thriller. I mean if you are going to bring in Ryan Reynolds, Denzel Washington, Brendan Gleeson and Vera Farmiga...you're pretty much halfway to making a good film. Yet somehow this still fell short from being gre... Read the full review »

While "The Riot Club" deals with the fraternity ala British way and "Neighbors" in a comedic way, Andrew Neel's latest movie "Goat" suggests another taste to the horrors of hazing in its depiction between two brothers (Jonas & Schnetzer), who test... Read the full review »

I'm sorry for not getting this movie, but Napoleon Dynamite. The movie was really boring In my opinion. It was quirky, but too quirky that some things just felt random. View the full reply »

Plot Twists!

I think that one of the most classic plot twists is in the original Planet of the Apes (1968). It was completely unexpected and pure genius. View the full reply »

Films that everybody hates that you love?

There's always gonna be those picks that people responded negatively too that you ADORE, for me it's easily Spider-Man 3. I know it's a bad movie but it just has that undeniable nostalgic charm. View the full thread »

@Chris I agree with Saw (2004), that one really caught me off guard. And although I love Shutter Island (2010), whenever I rewatch it I feel like an idiot for not guessing it straight away. View the full reply »

So many good ones. I second Arrival (2016) my mind was spinning as well. I would probably give The Sixth Sense (1999) and Fight Club (1999) the awards for best plot twist of all time. As for Shutter Island (2010), I saw that one coming from a mile... View the full reply »
