Brie Larson confirmed as Captain Marvel

During its annual San Diego Comic-Con panel, Marvel Studios confirmed that the rumored Brie Larson will indeed be playing Captain Marvel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Brie Larson who won the Academy Award for Best Actress in 2016, for her role in Room (2015) has been rumored for the role for sometime.
Captain Marvel (2019) is scheduled to be released in theaters on March 8, 2019.
