    Avatar was my favourite film of all time (then Gravity came out) and unfortunately it has a grown a club of haters. Sure it's not for everyone, I get that. But for me, this film revolutionised visual effects...it was the best experience in the cinema and the only film to really transport me into the world it portrays. The effects were outstanding then, and still are today! The story is thick with lore, the acting is never bad and some really inventive camerawork. The 3D is still the best out today. Every time I watch this, I'm fully engrossed and that is what a film is all about!
