  • 13 Hours is a war film directed by, prepare yourselves, Michael Bay. Yes, it has your typical Bay explosions with a ridiculous amount of sparks and firs, it has the many many many tilted camera angles...but no, there is no "hot chick". To be fair, this is actually a solid war film and caught me by surprise. The characters were well developed and there was plenty of war to be had. Being based on the true story, it had heart and the end credits was patriotic. Decent cast with not many famous actors, which made the film more real. I did find the film way toooooooo long and so I did lose interest towards the last act, and the last shootout scene dragged on. Considering this is a Michael Bay film, it's actually pretty good.
