  • Blade Runner is regarded as possibly the best neo-noir science fiction film of all time, whilst I did enjoy it...it had one major flaw. Firstly the production design and visual effects are astounding, still holds up well today. The soundtrack is euphoric and Ridley Scott did a fine job directing this. It's dense sci-fi, throwing in themes of religion, technology and immortality. The problem is though, the first half is slowwwwww. It was hideous pacing. Once Decker gets on the case of the villainous Roy Batty, the film then truly picks up pace. I think I'm gonna need to watch it again soon...
