So, crazy Oscars this year, huh? What was your favorite moment this year? What was the craziest part?, etc.

Obviously the craziest part was the ending! Thats, probably, not going to happen again and in the moment was absolutely insane! Otherwise I thought it was a pretty normal Oscars, with the winners being fairly predictable. Was surprised that Denzel didn't win Best Actor, but am happy with Casey getting it. Loved Denzel's reaction, he looked really pissed :) Thought Kimmel was good and loved all the Matt Damon jokes. Really wished there was more loved for Arrival, it was by far my favorite movie of the year and I will definetly keep rewatching it... more than the 4 times i already have. @EducatedMovieFan

@EducatedMovieFan My favorite part was when Auli'i Cravalho from Moana (2016) got hit in the head by one of her backup dancers. She took it like a champ and wasn't phased one bit. That is impressive for a 16 year old that is performing live at the Oscars.

I also agree with @mmmZavala I wish Arrival would have gotten a bit more love at the awards this year.

Yes, surprisingly the two parts of the show where I was jumping up and down was Arrival for sound editing, and Kenny Lonergan for screenplay. The second was expected but I appreciated it. I liked Kimmel but there were a lot of awkward moments; I'm kind of used to his sense of humor but I can see where there were issues, for example the "we haven't seen that movie yet" joke. That gets kind of insulting after a while. Otherwise I was pretty entertained by the show, and I really like the overall message put across that film is universal. @EducatedMovieFan

I personally also think Moana should have won over Zootopia for best animated and Pear Cider and Cigarettes should have won over Piper for animated short.
