I absolutely adore this film! Call Me By Your Name is a deeply touching and moving picure that manages to capture the essnce, and complications of a teenager's life. Though unlike a similarly brilliant film to it this year( Ladybird. In which Timothee Chaleamet also stars in), CMBYN tells the deep, and riveting story of Ellio and Oliver. Played by TImothee Chalamet, and Armie Hammer respectively. I must say that the film is beautifully written, and Luca Gudagnino really did a mesmerizing job in the directorial department with wondefully chosen shots, and with an amazing soundtrack and score to back it. However, the most impressive thing here for me are the performances. Firstly, Chalamet is a true gem in this role, and two scenes in particular in this film should sway any critics of his nomination. Armie Hammer is also incredible by managing to stay charismatic , yet awfully vunerable and relatable throughout the film. Michael Stuhlbarg is also fantastic in this film, but one scene in this film involving him stands as one of my favorite scenes of the year. All in all, Call Me By Your Name is an utterly flawless film for me, and ranks extremely high for me for my favorite movies of the year.
