Gal Gadot is perfect as Diana. She delivers both in the physicality and the dramatic moment of the film, giving the character a youth and naivety that feels different from any other in the DCEU. The comedic timing between Gal Gadot and Chris Pine felt natural and every joke lands perfectly. The standout performance of the was Robin Wright as Antiope, the greatest warrior of the Amazons and Diana's mentor.

Now for some of the negatives. The biggest issue I had was the overuse of slo-mo in some of the action scenes stalls the momentum of the action. But, almost every time right after a slo-mo sequence the would be another action sequence in real-time to bring the momentum back to the film.
My only other complaint is that the villains were underdeveloped and a little too campy in certain scenes. The reveal of Ares is somewhat predictable and leads to the cut-and-paste big boss battle at the end of the film.

Patty Jenkins directed this film masterfully. Gal Gadot brings it as Diana bolstered by amazing performances from Robin Wright and Chris Pine. Despite weak villains and a slight pacing issue in the third act, Wonder Woman is the best film in the DCEU.
