  • Terminator 3 is just one big mess. Most cinephiles say this is the start to the downfall of the franchise, and I would agree. Whilst some of the action scenes were enjoyable, particularly the car chase sequence, and Kristanna Loken looked badass as the T-X...it just wasn't enough. The film is plagued with visual effects that have not aged well, in fact the effects in its predecessor were better and that's 12 years before this one! The acting was abysmal from our leads, the characters were thinly written and the plot was a mess. It was clearly a rehash of Terminator 2 with a few adjustments, but come on...this was not the answer for a sequel. The funny thing is, this isn't the worst...it actually goes further downhill in the sequels. Stick to the first two entries, no need to watch any others.
