Trumbo is a biopic of screenwriter Dalton Trumbo and the Hollywood blacklist during the 1950's. Excellently portrayed by Bryan Cranston, Trumbo was the voice of the a small communist group in Hollywood. The rest of the cast were also top-notch! Direction was great, nice clean shots and beautiful transitions from black and white TV to reality. The only problem I found, was that the topic just wasn't interesting for me. I was more intrigued by the making of Spartacus rather than Trumbo as a person. Having said that, it was a good biopic.0 member like this review.
