About Time is your typical rom com of boy meets girl and falls in love, however this time the concept of time travel is thrown into the mix. This creates both humorous and heartfelt scenes. I have a complete crush on Domnhall Gleeson, I just love him. Bill Nighy is also consistently great. Rachel McAdams is only included as she is the goddess of rom coms. So everything about this film is great right? Unfortunately not. Straight off the bat the film lays down the rules of the time travel mechanic that is used. Later on in the film, these rules are unintentionally broken several times. I'm sorry but that is just ridiculously lazy script writing there, why would Richard Curtis approve of that!? So whilst this might be a standard rom com, its main concept is flawed which is a shame.1 member likes this review.
