When watching Baywatch, I felt my skin begin to shrivel, much like it does in water. Because, not only was I drowning in a sea of crass sexualisation and borderline racism, I was also feeling the affects of a film which is so out of date it isn't true.

The eighties Baywatch may have been able to get away with big blonde bimbos and ripped bodies being it's 'plot' but that doesn't fly now. In the modern day it is painfully uncomfortable and at times shocking.

Yet the most vile thing is the constant wink wink nudge nudge to the audience claiming that it is 'self aware.' Your self aware of your sexism? Yet your not changing it? Hrm.
