John Wick Chapter 2 follows the man, the myth, the legend that is John Wick as he is forced out of retirement to assassinate someone. All hell breaks loose and everyone wants to kill him. This film turned action into brutal fatalities...the amount of bone crunching, head shots and body flipping is ridiculous yet so satisfying. Keanu Reeves is just the perfect badass. This film builds on the lore of the underground assassin world and the rules they live by, I found this interesting for the most part. After the first action scene, it does take a while for the film to build up...but once it does, it's god damn non-stop! Headshot after headshot after headshot. The stunt work is phenomenal!! Sure the story doesn't build as much as it's predecessor, but this is a worthy sequel. Just don't let him go near you with a pencil...0 member like this review.
