Nowadays, the genre of "buddy cop" films often feels worn out and generically poorly done for me. However, I really enjoyed and loved this film. From the electric chemistry between Crowe and Gosling that really is the backbone of the film, and also due to the greatly interesting and intriguing plot of the film. Not to mention some interesting and good characters. Such as Angourie Rice's Holly. The film boasts great directive works from the Renowned Shane Black, which brings this greatly stylistic ad violent movie to life. My only issue with this film is that the pacing is a bit off for me, and you cold say it corniness of the film does begin to show more conspicuously towards the end. Still the complaints are minuscule compared to my great love and admiration of this film. Well worth a watch.
