Big Eyes surprised me. It surprised me at how good Tim Burton can be minus all of the theatrics and darkness. He has actually made a good biographical film. Walter Keane is truly an evil person, stealing the credit of his wife's work. The flamboyancy of Christoph Waltz and the innocence of Amy Adams worked perfectly. Plenty of vibrant colours and a comedic undertone, this was a really enjoyable biopic.1 member likes this review.
