If I didn’t have the AMC Stubs A-List, I would’ve thrown about $10 in the crapper to see “The Intruder”. Thank god I didn’t have to do that. In a book, movie, presentation, any type of media whatsoever, when you know what’s going to happen before it happens, it completely devalues and robs the film of any sense of joy or excitement because it’s predictable. It’s only made worse when the project has potential to be fun and gets squandered prior to its script and actors. Outside of a suitably over-the-top performance from Dennis Quaid, “The Intruder’s” ludicrousness in its plot doesn’t co-align with its flat characters, scrawny editing, predictable plot and simply just doesn’t give any f’s about how lazy it is.

Yet another one of those movies that if the simply embraced the craziness of the situation surrounding said plot, maybe it had more importance. Instead, SONY adds yet ANOTHER turd to their collection of films comprised by filthy money-grubbing weasels.
