The Transporter is classic Statham action. This is, arguably, the film that put him on the action bandwagon. His acting skills are not particularly fantastic but he serves the purpose as a kick-ass action hero every time! Supporting cast were also functional, not thing outstanding but they do the job. Some stylistic fight choreography that has aged pretty well I must say, and some good shootout scenes. The film definitely picks up in the last act, the first two thirds are more of a character introduction and establishing the plot. The plot is basic, but what do you expect. I'm not going to critique every aspect, there's no need to. This is an action film, it has great action so therefore it serves it purpose and then some.0 member like this review.
