I honestly don't even know where, to begin with, this film. This film from the start just feels like a music video opening with a 10-minute montage. There was absolutely no arc to this movie. There is no character progression and there is no story outside of the last act. The over ONE-HUNDRED minute film only had about fifteen to twenty minutes of actual story. The lack of story puts the characters in the spotlight and nothing could be worse. The characters are unappealing, completely unsympathetic, and just plain boring. The script doesn't do them any favors the way it was structured was so incoherent and the dialogue was something worthy of The Room.
Fifty Shades Freed was by far the worst film in this franchise, which may be the worst in history. I don't know if I've been so happy to see anything end before this. I honestly don't know if the "Freed" refers to something in the film or us the audience now that this trainwreck is over.
