Pete's Dragon is predictable. It's full of cheesy acting and cringey lines. But darn it I flipping loved it. In its run time, I laughed, I smiled and I teared up towards the end. I somehow grew an emotional connection with Elliot (the dragon), was literally the cutest thing ever. I like how they kept facial features from the animated original, was a good design. The friendship that grows between Pete and Elliot just touched me, it was so well done. It's pure Disney magic and I fell in love with it, damn you Disney...you win again!0 member like this review.
