  Look, you know what you're walking into when you watch the trailer. Dumb, mindless, fun action. And that's pretty much what you get. Barring some cringy moments and lines, I had quite a good time with this film. All of the underwater stuff works and is genuinely intense. Jason Statham going toe to toe against The Meg was hilariously amazing. So if you walk into this movie expecting a hard hitting character driven modern day Jaws, you'll 100% hate this movie and yourself for subjecting yourself to watching this absolutely ridiculous, cheesy ride of a 1990's giant monster movie made in the modern day.
