John Wick...Johnnnnnn Wick. The mere mention of his name sends shivers down people's spines, my spine however shakes with excitement. The film single handedly reinvigorated the action genre. The fight choreography and the "Gun Fu" (yes, it's Kung Fu with guns) is extraordinary. Superb film making with nice clean shots and no shoddy quick cuts. Sure the acting is mediocre, but this just suited Keanu Reeves perfectly. Minimal dialogue, plenty of kills and a kick-ass soundtrack. Easily in my top ten action films of all time.1 member likes this review.
