Green Room shouldn't appeal to me. I hate "screamo" music, Neo-Nazis, gory films for the sake of being gory...but y'know I quite like this! It's one of those films that makes me think "what would I do in their situation?" and it definitely kept me engaged throughout. Great use of suspense and tension, good acting and realistic makeup effects for the gore. It's not a mainstream film at all, it's an acquired taste but I actually liked it. Sure the characters are expendable, hardly worth investing in and could be replace by any actor...but it's a solid gory thriller! Check it out.1 member likes this review.
