    Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (not Sorcerer's...so don't even go there) is the film that started it all. It makes me proud to be British that we are able to produce such a fine film that starts a global phenomenon. Sure the child acting is cheesy looking back, but it was able to build characters, the world of magic and a cohesive storyline. A plethora of British actors ranging from the greats to newbies. Excellent visual effects and grandeur production design. I just can't help but fall in love with this film.
