Darkest Hour combines true poignancy with a historical plot that is as timeless as a fairy-tail. Gary Oldman is Oscar caliber, Ben Mendelsohn is not fair off, and Kristin Scott Thomas owns the heart of the film. The movie moves with a firm pace, adorned with inspiring moments, and definitely those with levity. Darkest Hour is a Triumph.1 member likes this review.
