Carol is rated, by MetaCritic, as the best film of 2015. Is it? Probably not. But damn, it's definitely in the top tier! Cate Blanchett was magnificent, the epitome of class. She owned every scene and I was entranced. The chemistry between her and Rooney Mara is palpable, they were fantastic. The character development was dense, the drama was riveting but the romance between them...I just wanted to jump in the film and ship them off together! That ending...it was beautiful. Amazing movie, watch it if you get the chance.
