Submarine is a quirky coming of age comedy directed by Richard Ayoade (most famous for the incredible IT Crowd here in the UK). This is super quirky, very stylish and just so likeable! The characters are awkward (in a good way), they are relatable and the script is just genius. I love small British films like these...shows that there is talent out there! I wasn't as engrossed as I was when I first watched it, and at times it does feel abit long (even though it's 96 minutes) probably because there is not enough meat in the main plot for my liking but I still love it. We need more films like these.0 member like this review.
