  • Jurassic World is Jurassic Park for the new generation...except it's nowhere near as good or revolutionary. This suffers from a case of "playing it safe", much like Star Wars and other franchises having long awaited sequels. It's literally a rehash of the original. Visually it is stunning, I love architecture and the dinosaurs. Acting is absolutely fine, Chris Pratt is charismatic as usual. Lovely clean cinematography with plenty of "wow I would use that as a poster" shots and overall it's an enjoyable film. But the story was too safe so therefore not thrilling. Plus three things bug me: Bryce Dallas Howard could not outrun dinosaurs in heels, training velociraptors is quite frankly stupid and finally, don't go into restricted areas when it's clearly labelled...how many times dammit!
