Minions...the prequel to the reasonably good Despicable Me. I'm just going to say, this is not great at all. Sure children will love it, but for us adults it is painful. When your main characters speak gibberish, you know you will have problems in making them investable and coherent. If anything I found them annoying. The plot is by the numbers, hashed together with supposedly funny scenes...but most of it was just the stupid things breaking into song. What is great though is the animation itself, very fluid! Scarlet Overkill was over the top and memorable and the English speaking voice cast was adequate. But in the end, we all know this was a cash grab...0 member like this review.
