  It is such a shame when half of a film cannot live up to the other.
  Some elements of this movie really stood out to me as encouraging and empowering - especially in the face of recent casting controversies. However, due to the terrible start and mediocre middle of this movie I feel most would switch it off after watching it for five minutes on Netflix. However, you become more stingy when you've paid the admission fee.
  I also found this movie to be confused with its own narrative vision - leaving the audience bewildered in their search to find a protagonist to support. You pretty much hate the motives of all the characters in this movie at some point.
  Like I say - the ending to this movie eclipses the key elements to creating a solid film. It is a shame that the sloppy narrative hadn't attempted to fix itself when it saw how good it could be.
  Overall, although this film didn't quite hit the spot I can't say I'm particularly disappointed. I chose to see it on a whim with no real background on the series. However, the film had the ability to spark interest to the franchise - and I fear it may have succeeded if it had lived up to its final minutes.
