  Ghost in the Shell does manage to have an interesting concept, be visually stunning, and entertains with a good cast. However, the movie feels too empty and rushed to fully fulfill the potential it has. I was not invested enough in the plot lines, and the universe they were creating as a whole. Even as someone who has not seen the anime, I already feel that this movie has brushed other more intricate and exciting points that could've increased the quality of the story line of the film. This doesn't mean that this film cant't be enjoyed, and it's definitely a film I would watch again.
