The Hundred-Foot Journey is a small niche of films that I like, films that focus on food. Much like Chef and Burnt, this light hearted romantic drama portrays cooking as a way of life, tradition and memories. The cast was good (albeit with slightly annoying French accents) and the camerawork was neat and tidy. Unfortunately it took a while to connect with the characters on an emotive level, and not enough focus on the food. Having said that, it was a fine drama that I found enjoyable.
