  The Hunger Games is one of the stronger entries in the four-part film franchise. It's the only film to warrant a 15 rating because of the violence and blood...and I appreciate that. The acting was fine, some of the teenage actors are dull but for the most part good. The first half is slow but once Katniss goes into the arena, the pace picks up and it's a good time. Although I crack up consistently when Katniss shouts "I volunteer!"
