  • Transporter 3 makes its predecessors look like masterpieces. Do you know why? Because they weren't directed by Olivier Megaton. Jason Statham is an action star, he performs excellent stunts and the fight choreography was good. Robert Knepper was a great casting choice for the villain. That's it. That is literally it. Natalya Rudakova? Cannot act and is abysmal. Olivier Megaton's direction? Half second jump cuts and atrocious editing. Statham's accent? Constantly changing. The rules that he abides by in the other films? He breaks for no reason. Needs to get back car keys? Forced to strip tease. A car driving on top of a train? Stupid. A car somehow managing to drive on the back and front left wheels? Even more stupid. Urghhhh this is why we can't have nice things, we give amateur directors a big budget and they blow it all on incoherence and nonsense. But alas, I needed the bluray to complete the series.
