Midnight Special harks back to classic sci-fi films but with a modern edgier feel. Plenty of mystery with multiple "what the heck was that about!?" moments. The great performances (particularly Michael Shannon) and the methodical direction makes this a memorable sci-fi that I'm sure will have a cult following in years to come.1 member likes this review.
