A Hologram for the King is one of Tom Hanks' lowest grossing films. It was fine. Well acted by Hanks (consistent as always) and well shot by Tom Tykwer, but something was missing. I honestly thought there was going to be a twist at the end. There were so many weird coincidences and serendipitous events that surely it couldn't be all heart warming and normal? But it was. The story just didn't go anywhere for me. Amy I missed something? It's a fine drama, nothing more though.
