  My personal favorite MCU movie, Guardians of the Galaxy played some serious blackjack, and it all paid off.The Guardians comic books have some very interesting and niche story elements, but this movie strives to break those conventions, and allow for a much wider demographic to sit down and enjoy this movie; In my opinion, I think they hit it out of the park - this is probably because I LOVE science fiction (weird science fiction at that) and this movie had tons of weird looking aliens, and orbital assaults that I've only seen in large franchises like Star Trek and Star Wars. Speaking of the beloved trilogy, I have heard many people say that this is Marvel's Star Wars, and I can most definitely attest to that. This is a movie so bursting with exuberance and originality, that I walked out of the theater wanting to stay in my seat and see it for a second time, that's a feat only a few dozen movies can say they have achieved.
