Dark City is aesthetically magnificent and the narrative is rather fresh. The movie manages to capture some magic through the dark and drab color grading, but it might feel dull at some points, as no acting performance is INCREDIBLY significant. Dark City has an interesting premise, but the characters and story-lines introduced aren't as fully fleshed out as they could've been with a slightly longer run-time.0 member like this review.
