@FILM Honestly, I don't know if I could pick just one. Fight Club (1999), The Dark Knight (2008), La La Land (2016), Halloween (1978), ...

@Chris I can pick just one, (No Country for Old Men), it's ordering the rest of them I struggle with. There's a list on my profile but I'm switching between Donnie Darko, 2001: A Space Odyssey and The Godfather as my 2nd. Beyond that it's almost impossible to say.

All my favorites are so ridiculously immature that it always makes me a bit embarassed to share them. I don't think I've seen enough of the greats to determine a true favorite.

I have my top ten on my 'lists' section in my bio. The Dark Knight has been my favorite for a while now, but return of the jedi, and return of the king are close contenders. Also, my 3 favorite films to rewatch have to be Spider-man 3, Iron Man 3 and Robin Hood Men in Tights

@buffed_film_buff Haha go on, we won't judge you. We all have our guilty pleasures.

I have to say that 2016's A Monster Calls deeply affected me upon my first viewing. Maybe it was when I saw it or the open-mindedness that I walked into the theater with, because I didn't know anything about it, but I left the theater with shivers. That's probably one of my favorite feelings I've ever received from watching a movie so I truly believe that it's one of my favorites, even if it is a bit childish.

@buffed_film_buff Yes, i definitely agree with you on A Monster Calls. A deeply affecting film that tackles some pretty adult themes for a child-oriented plot. A guilty pleasure of mine would be the recent Lego Batman Movie. Despite obnoxious marketing and trailers, i decided to give it a chance and found myself laughing all the way through, despite many immature and childish jokes.

Oh no, that's great! I enjoyed the Lego Batman movie too. It may be a bit childish but it's really entertaining and had so many references to other movies. @FILM

@FILM Goodfellas is just amazing for me. It changed my view on movies, and made me start to actually appreciate what goes into movie making. The first two Star Wars films are definitely close though. Along with Spider-Man 2 and The Dark Knight.

@JRhagan Shawshank did that for me. I was fascinated by how emotionally affected I was after watching it, and knew I had to learn more about filmmaking.

It's tricky but I will have to go for Jurassic Park (1993) . Why? Because i was 9 years old and it was amazing.
