Fernando Alonso

Fernando Alonso Díaz (born 29 July 1981) is a Spanish racing driver. He has won the Formula 1 World Drivers' Championship twice in 2005 and 2006,3 once the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2019, the 2018 and 2019 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 2019 24 Hours of Daytona. He was also runner-up in Formula 1 in 2010, 2012 and 2013, and took a third-place finish in 2007. In Formula 1, he has competed for the Minardi, Renault (in which he was a two-time world champion), McLaren and Scuderia Ferrari, this being his team from 2010 to 2014. He left Ferrari after that year and in 2015 returned to McLaren. After two years away from F1, he will return to Alpine F1 Team in 2021.
