Jerry Habibi is a first generation Iranian-American actor. In June 2024, he was profiled for D Magazine by Pulitzer finalist Matt Zoller Seitz in a piece titled "The Hardest Working Man in Show Biz".

Habibi was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He began performing in Persian Dance and Theater in Texas a child, performing in both Farsi and English. He has trained and studied various acting techniques from Stanislavski, Shurtleff, Chekhov, Uta Hagen, and more, at an abundance of studios. Breath-work, fitness, and movement are all integral to his process. He is passionate about continuously diversifying his training. Additionally, he converted his expertise in music production to self-recording voiceover work from his home-studio.

Jerry Habibi premiered "The Persian Version" at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, after a nearly three year period of being championed by Director Maryam Keshavarz. The film was picked up by Sony Pictures Classics and premiered on Netflix in March 2024. His performance in the Sundance U.S. Dramatic Award-Winning Film has been praised for his comedic timing, dancing, and natural delivery. Letterboxd Editorial acknowledged the overwhelming amount of user-praise for his role in particular, naming him as the 'most desired' by users in their reviews online.

Privately, he has been building a library of self-produced, written, composed, and engineered music pieces since 2015. His work has been praised for his dark-smokey toned vocal style with mid-east undertones. Grammy-Award winner Ronny J (Donda, Jesus Is King), whom he is partnering with for both film and music work, praised his music upon first hearing it, stating that "He should be writing other people's songs".
