Sarwat Gilani is an alumna of the prestigious Indus Valley School of Art & Architecture in Pakistan. Known for her versatile acting skills Gilani has graced Pakistani screens for almost two decades working in numerous television plays, web series, and feature films.
Her film Joy Land won the Best International Film Jury Award at the Cannes Film Festival 2022. Recently 'Noor' her short film won The Best Health Care Film once again at the Cannes World Film Festival 2023.
As an activist, Sarwat advocates Women's Rights and law Awareness and has spoken against child abuse on various platforms globally. Through her art, Gilani has managed to portray these issues by participating in a number of international art exhibitions. She is an Ambassador for Special Olympics Pakistan, Indus Hospital Health Network, and Search for Justice to name a few.
Sarwat has recently become the proud owner of her new venture named Art House, an inclusive after-school space for children that encourages creative learning and self-awareness through a variety of programs and activities for differently abled, less privileged, and mainstream children.
Sarwat has been awarded titles like Most Responsible Celebrity and continues to work with charities over a decade of dedication.
