Kurtis Williams is a Los Angeles-based writer, director, and producer known for blending humor with emotionally grounded storytelling. He graduated from the University of Arizona before earning his M.F.A. in Writing for the Screen from Loyola Marymount University's School of Film and Television in 2026. His feature screenplay Aloha 'Δ€ina won the Social Justice Feature Award in LMU's 2025 MFA Screenwriting Competition, recognizing his commitment to telling stories inspired by overlooked histories and communities.

As a filmmaker, Williams has directed the short films She Smiles Back (2024), Seeing Symphonies (2024), and Division None (2026).
