Éric Gravel is a screenwriter and director of Quebec origin, born in Verdun in Canada and residing in France. He graduated from the Mel-Hoppenheim School of Cinema at Concordia University in Montreal in 1994.
He is the director of short films and, above all, of two feature films: Crash Test Aglaé, released in 2017, and Full Time, about the life of a woman told with the rhythm of a thriller. The latter premiered at the Venice Film Festival 2021 and took home two Horizons – Best Director for Eric Gravel and Best Actress for Laure Calamy.
