"The Strange Ones" is daring and creepy; a strong first feature from writer/directors Christopher Radcliff and Lauren Wolkstein.
A bizarre coming-of-age tale, "The Strange Ones"s is the tale of two travelers as they make their way to a cabin in the woods that frequently feels more like a cryptic fever dream than a straight-forward narrative. Offering strong performances from "Magic Mike"'s Alex Pettyfer and "Cop Car"'s James Freedson-Jackson, "The Strange Ones" will draw you in quickly, even if the ending doesn't serve the story justice.
