Classic Cinema at its finest, Seven Samurai has heart, and important values that do not change with age. The film is well paced for a 3 and a half hour movie, highlighting all the integral parts of each character's individual journey, to give us an entirely comprehensible and coherent monumental cinematic experience. Akira Kurosawa innovates with his methods in storytelling and in grandiose scale fight sequences; from this he influences nearly every-single genre film from that point forward. This is truly one of the movies that shaped Hollywood, and cinema would be lost without it.1 member likes this review.
