  Despite an interesting villain and some Waititi-style irreverent humour, the character drama in 'Thor: Love and Thunder,' is so lacklustre that the film ends up missing the heart it spends so much of its time supposedly riffing off. This, then, is yet another recent example of a Marvel project with an interesting concept and glimpses of greatness, but an ultimately poor execution that lets it all down.
